Do not forget the Armenian Genocide

April 24th is the memorial day for the Armenian Genocide. For those who do not know about it in 1915 the Turks slaughtered millions of innocent Armenians and the worst part is they still to this day do not accept the fact. This is one of the many genocides that the world does not hear about, because the people who commit them attempt to hush things up. But other people know and remember the gruesome facts of the past and will not let them forget.

T1

The guys from McLaren apparently got together and put together a car that does 0-60 in 2.5 seconds with top speed of 190-200mph and is street legal! It looks pretty sweet, and knowing that behind it are the guys from McLaren you are guaranteed that it IS sweet! I'm not sure if you are all familiar, but they're the ones who took the Mercedes SLR and added a few touches to make it amazingly fast. Here's their site:

Encrypting Bittorrent Traffic

For one reason or another many of us may need to encrypt our bittorrent traffic which hides the fact that you are using bittorrent traffic from your ISP. Now granted most of us probably don't need this since we have nothing to hide.... but JUST IN CASE here's a great article that tells you how to do it using the 3 most common used bittorrent clients Azureus, Bitcomet and uTorrent:

How to Encrypt Bittorrent Traffic

And as a side note I heard that uTorrent is an excellent bittorrent client and it does not hog your resources as much as Azureus does. Is anyone using uTorrent? I'll probably check it out soon, but I wanted to see if anyone has used it and what their thoughts are in comparison to Azureus.

Searching Code

Ever get really frustrated with some piece of code that you can't figure out how to write, or know a function but don't know how to use it? I know how it feels because I'm like an encyclopedia in our apartment. Whenever my roomie needs some function he asks me like I know it all lol (which I don't of course). Anyways I stumbled (literally using "Stumble") on this page today and it's sweet. You can search for anything that might appear in code and it'll give you code samples from actual code! Check it out:

Creepy decapitation stories.

Yesterday I ran into this very interesting article, it's a little creepy so for those who has problem with the process of dying I'm really NOT recommending to read.

Lucid Decapitation.

Probably the best way to go after reading this article is with a help of a shotgun pointed right at the "thinking" part of the body.

Health problems with tech lifestyle

This article talks about the health problems relating to as they say "geek lifestyle." It mostly targets the programmers, but can be applied to almost anyone who uses computers extensively. Although I don't share all those symptoms, horrible sleep hygene and sometimes pain in the back definately apply to me! Anyways here's the article, see what you guys think:

Health Problems Related to the Geek Lifestyle

There is also another link off of that article that talks about extensive keyboard usage and carpal tunnel.

Google Cache

I know many of our visitors here (that is if they're still visiting) work with web content on day-to-day basis, so when I ran into this little information, I figured you'd appreciate it (:

It deals with Google caching your website. First off a piece of information:
You can stop Google from caching your website by simply including <meta name="ROBOTS" content="NOARCHIVE"> in your website.

This and more information for Webmasters who would like to know how to integrate their site better with Google's search engine can be found on Google's Google Information for Webmasters page.

Now having said all this, I wanted to ask what you guys think of the whole idea of Google caching your website? Personally, I've seen both good and bad come out of it. A lot of times I'll search for something that's been removed from the site, but it's still in the cache so I am able to get to it. However if I'm the webmaster I don't think I'd appreciate this too much.
