???:: where the hell is denis

i don't know if you guys have noticed, but denis hasn't posted anything in like 3 weeks. knowing that he's a regular poster, i'm guessing he's been abducted.

has anyone seen him on campus? should we get his picture posted on milk cartons? or could it be that he's actually studying?

let me know. i'm concerned.

We have labels !!!

Finally it arrived, we implemented a service that allows putting labels on our posts!

That means you don't have to dig through many different types of posts until you find something interesting, instead just click on the label and see only posts that you want. :)

We're also abandoning the "title ::" in the title. before it was our way of dealing with labeling.

Thanks everybody for being patient with system that we had. Have fun blogging.

link :: For the crazy gamers!

I can't imagine how many times I've heard my roomie get mad because he accidentally hit the windows key, or some other key and how much he hates it bla bla bla. So when I saw this I figured it's perfect! You can use it to map any of the keys to anything and it'll edit the registry for you. Here it is:

link :: Zap!

Ever printed something out from the internet and got like 6 pages worth of stuff when you only needed 1? You might say "that's why I use print selection!" but even that doesn't always work, because the companies now include ads within the text, so you can't really select around them. So what's the solution? click2zap! I just tried it and it's awesome.

To make it work, first go to that page, find the link click2zap, right click on it and save it as a bookmark. After that simply go to the page you'd like to print, go to the bookmarks and click on the click2zap bookmark you just made and then start clicking on the things you don't want on the page! Bam, bam, bam they start dissapearing like crazy! hehe. And if you mess up there's undo (:

Warning: When I tried it in Internet Explorer it didn't work for me. I have only tried it in Firefox and Internet Explorer and it worked perfect in Firefox. Please comment if you tried it in other browsers so we know (:

link :: Video Downloads

Google Video has made finding your favorite videos so much easier! However the only way they let you download the movie is if you have their special player, and even then you're still streaming the video every time you play it. Solution? KeepVid! I tried it with just one link so far from google and it gave me an option of downloading the google video player format, avi, and a few others. Google Video isn't the only available site though. You can also get stuff from iFilm and other popular ones. I haven't tested all, but it seems like it works. Check it out and comment away (:

There just isn't a place where Google won't go. After mapping the earth, they stretched to the moon, and, recently, went even further into the solar system by mapping Mars! Check it out:

link :: iPod not just a player?

This weekend my dad was asking me about iPods and when I asked him for his reasons behind the questions, he mentioned that the university is thinking about getting the faculty to use iPods for educational purposes. I guess I'm not too surprised. However, this article described a role for iPod that I would never imagine:

link :: Is the end of gas powered cars near?

All you car fans out there have to check this one out. The K-1 Hybrid is a sports car that does 50mpg (mile per galon) and it does 0-60 in 4 seconds! Pretty amazing for a hybrid wouldn't you say? The great part is the car is not even manufactured by some large car company. Anyways here's their website:

pics :: Funny People

Well, it has been awhile since I posted pictures. I am sure you all missed seeing Denis's and my goofy faces, jk. :) Well, here are some new, and I think funny pics for you.

The dryer did not work as well, so Denis decided to dry clothes the old fashioned way, lol. When I came out and saw him hanging up his clothes on the phone wire, I laughed for sooooo long. I could not help taking this picture, lol.
Lilia eating chocolate (Nutella) yummy. I know it looks gross, but that is what I was going for, lol.

Denis in his driving attire, lol. HOT! What else can I say?

tech :: 2.5 gigapixel photo

you still think that your 5.0 or 7.2 megapixel camera is a hit? think again.
gigapixel camera are obviously a reality, mostly for the government and NASA though, but for us ordinary mortals will still be a sci-fi tech that you will mostly dream about in your spy and star trek alike movies that you hide under your bed, cuz you don't want anyone to admitt that you actually like them (like me) :)
