txt :: Who I am and how I got here!

Since we now have a new member on our blog (welcome J! I really like what you picked for your name lol) I'm reviving this old post to hopefully get a few more introductions from people who haven't posted anything about how they connect to this blog. It'll help all of us out since we'll know from what area and you come from and how you tie into our crazy world. I'll be reviving this every once in a while so don't be surprised when you see it every time (:

So this post will go on as a "get to know everyone on this blog." Just for the people who don't know exactly who everyone is here (especially since everyone has weird nicknames - well everyone but me of course). So you can just post as a comment to this post and say whatever you want about yourself (doesn't even have to be true... lol) and how you know me and/or fake.

Just a thought... hehe if it doesn't catch on we'll get rid of this post!

P.S. I figure this post will stay as "current" for a while so everyone can have a chance to post to it. (:

Chris, I was so dissapointed when heard that you're playing Battlefield 2 Demo. You can't get a real version...

Really...

I'll tell you in steps.
1. Get on www.isohunt.com or similar network and get an image of battlefield 2 using bittorent
2. go to gamecopyworld ang get a no-cd patch
3. Launch it and enjoy the full power.
4. If you want i have it laying somewhere. I don't think i burned it yet though.

And after that you call yourself a gamer.... Pffff....

I guess the moderators need to introduce themselves too.

I'm fake or a lot of ppl know me - Denis :) I've met 'bla' my freshman year at BYU when he was a TA for one of my classes while being with me in another.

A semester after that I switched from CS to IT. Couldn't handle it.... jk... I love programming and have no problem with it. Just don't think i'm too exited about the idea of sitting in front of the monitor 24/7 :)

From then on I was studying and closely interacting with most of you on endless movie hopping trips and different fast food lunches.

I looked through the list of ppl that we invited and I do know everyone. Trying to go in detail and describe relationship to each and every one of you will take books. And I should admit that those books would be very humorous.

I love my friends :D

Keep in touch everyone because if you wont then I will...

fake,

it's illegal to pirate software (in case you forgot). blogger could actually shut down your site for telling people how to get illegal copies of games working. just thought i'd let you know so you don't have to open up a new site with a new email address (hahahaha).

peace,

I'm not telling anybody how to copy anything illegal... What is illegal anyway? Are governments legal?

Thx for telling that though, good to know for the future.

introducing:..... ME!

What up. To introduce myself, I'm Randall. I've known bla and fake for a while, and they are studs.

Good job you two on the blog. You may be good at CS, but you suck at poker.(you too, Waj) :D j/k

I married Carine, who knew bla (Mika) from when they were kids in Armenia, so that's my link. I've got a little girl too. 5 months old. (Ava) I
graduated from BYU a few years back with a Math degree, so luckily I only had to suffer through CS 142. Too bad I didn't know these two at the
time or they could have helped me. (read: they could have done all my labs for me)

I don't game too much anymore unless it's on the Nintendo DS or soon to be on Sony PSP. I do try to keep up on the fantasy literature. Favorite
authors: R.A. Salvatore, Terry Goodkind. So I may post from time to time on them.
